Your first few weeks
This isn't a sprint. Here's a realistic pace so you don't drown.
- Day 1: Fill out a short intake form. Accept the TREC Invitation for sponsorship. Get set up with GFWAR.
- Days 2-3: Sign into each of our tools & begin to explore them. Get plugged into the #guides channel on Slack. Ask questions & watch the discussions.
- Week 1: Explore our training platforms like Small Steps. Big Results™, Your Guide to Texas Real Estate, & Irreplaceable Agent.
- Weeks 2–3: Start talking to people. Stay consistent. Let the reps teach you.
- Week 4+: Use the systems. Keep showing up.
The goal of today
Two things — get your paperwork in and get activated with TREC. That's it.
Let's Get Started
Independent Contractor Agreement
All agents at 6th Ave operate as independent contractors, not employees.
This means we do not withhold taxes (state, federal, or local), do not pay a base salary, and do not require set working hours. You are responsible for your own tax obligations and manage your own schedule.
To get started, you’ll need to sign an Independent Contractor Agreement and complete a W-9.
Victoria will send your Independent Contractor Agreement and W-9 via DocuSign. Complete both as soon as they hit your inbox.
Get activated
Two emails will land in your inbox. Accept both. You are not live until you do.
You are NOT active until both the TREC sponsorship and GFWAR transfer are accepted. No contracts. No clients. No business. Get these done.
Stuck on something?
Email support@6thavehomes.com or text the number on your welcome email. Don't sit on it — we'd rather hear from you in 10 minutes than 10 days.
Don't sit on anything. If something is unclear, ask now. Waiting slows everything down.
Get plugged into our systems
Once your paperwork is in, the next step is logging into the tools you'll actually use every day — and getting a quick walk-through of how a deal flows here.
