MISSION STATEMENT
why we do what we do
CREATING HOMES. BUILDING COMMUNITY. REAL ESTATE WITH SOUL.
CREATING HOMES
What we do goes beyond just houses.
A house is just building with four walls and a roof, but a home is a sacred space. We are helping people find the place where memories will be made and their families will do life.
BUILDING COMMUNITY
Community is at the center of it all.
Everything we do should have the end goal of fostering community, making neighborhoods better, and impacting our city positively.
REAL ESTATE WITH SOUL
This idea of “Soul” is two part:
Part 1 - There must always be a heart and soul behind everything we are doing. Our mission is bigger than us and focused on the spiritual and physical restoration of our city, clients, and team. We desire to see communities restored, personal relationships flourish, businesses improved, work relationships healthy and encouraging, and to participate in business that operates with a purpose and mission beyond profit.
Part 2 - All we do is meant to have style, soul, and substance. If a brand has soul it arouses emotions and stirs affections. We place an extremely high value on aesthetics, design, branding, story and vibe, because we know how important those things are to the success of any brand.

our CORE VALUES
1) WE ARE FAITHFUL TO THE IDEA OF RESTORATION, IT IS THE HEART BEHIND ALL WE DO.
Everything we do has the end goal of restoration. We desire to see communities restored, personal relationships flourish,
businesses improved, work relationships healthy and encouraging, and to participate in business that operates with a
purpose and mission beyond profit. We aim for every aspect of 6th Ave and its operations to be restorative in nature.
2) We are deeply committed to the peace
and prosperity of our city.
We love our community and want to see it thrive. As a team, we’re on a mission to leave the cities we work in better than we found them.
Our goal in every area of our business is to pour into cities and communities, not take from them.
Everything we do should have the end goal of fostering community, connecting people to a brand, building a community
around that brand, helping businesses grow, and impacting our city.
We are not just marketing, we are impacting a city, creating jobs, building economies.
3) WE ARE PASSIONATE ABOUT DAILY GROWING STRONGER, SMARTER AND MORE SELFLESS.
We are relentless about the pursuit of knowledge and growth so that we can share it and pass it on.
We want to see our team members flourish personally and professionally. We encourage and challenge each other to
grow stronger - physically, mentally, professionally, and emotionally as leaders. This growth
(individually and as an organization) should not stop with ourselves;
we grow to give back to and serve our team, family, and communities.
We are open with our resources, strategies, and techniques. We believe being generous with our trade secrets helps
entrepreneurs flourish impacting a city and will drive business and loyalty.
4) WE REJECT THE STATUS QUO AND ENCOURAGE INNOVATION.
We hate complacency and are always looking for ways to do what we do better. Our team members are encouraged to
think outside the box and to innovate. Because we are committed to growth, we pivot fast and often, always looking
for ways to improve and find the “better way.”
We do not care how other companies do things or industry standards, we will always blaze our own trail.
5) We value people and principles over profits, but caring for people can only happen with profit.
We make decisions based on our principles and serving our clients; not just maximizing profit.
In the end it’s about accomplishing our bigger mission, not making a quick buck at the expense of people.
6) WE BELIEVE FAITH AND FAMILY SHOULD COME FIRST AND ARE PRECIOUS GIFTS TO BE SAVORED.
WE WILL ALWAYS CREATE MARGIN FOR BOTH.
We want to serve our clients to the best of our ability without compromising serving our families well. At 6th Ave, we encourage
healthy boundaries and time off for our team, striving to create a refreshing and fulfilling work and personal life. Our hope
is to see our team thrive personally and professionally.
7) WE INTENTIONALLY KEEP OUR TEAM SMALL AND CURATED, ALWAYS PARTNERING WITH AND REWARDING THE RIGHT PEOPLE.
It’s not about having the biggest team, but about having the best team. We hire and fire based on culture and mission.
8) WE ARE FANATICAL ABOUT HAVING FUN WHILE WE WORK AND DO NOT TAKE OURSELVES TOO SERIOUSLY.
We embrace the philosophy: work hard, play hard. We believe that you can have fun while you work and celebrate well
when you succeed while also keeping your ego and pride in check.
9) WE ARE FANS OF FEEDBACK.
MISTAKES ARE OPPORTUNITIES TO GROW.
We believe mistakes can be gifts if we treat them as opportunities to learn. We encourage our team to be open, honest and transparent
with shortcomings and use them as lessons to grow, improve, and push forward. We are always excited to receive
and give feedback, because we hold fast to the idea that to be clear is to be kind.
“If you’re always right, you’re not learning. If you’re never failing, you’re not reaching. The objective is to be right.
The objective is to succeed. But if you’re always winning, you’re undershooting your potential.”
10) We are a team of leaders and problem solvers, never bringing a problem without solutions.
We are problem solvers, not problem identifiers. We encourage critical thinking and a proactive approach to handling issues. While
asking for help is encouraged, it must be done in the context of also thinking of solutions on your own. Before we bring an
issue or problem to a team member, we first think of ways to solve it.
11) WE practice the art of “prioritize and execute”
because all things are not of equal importance
A ‘yes’ to one thing is always a ‘no’ to something else. To maximize our time, we are always prioritizing and evaluating what tasks
will have the biggest impact. When overwhelmed and facing multiple problems, rather than tackling them all,
determine the highest priority task and execute.
We focus on what is important, not what is easiest to accomplish. 1 important task can make more impact than 10 easy “to-do’s”.
12) WE take “extreme ownership” for both the success
and failure of any project and role we are tasked with.
Success is always our individual responsibility and we do not place blame elsewhere when mistakes are made, a project fails, or
things do not go as planned. Ownership requires humility, vulnerability and self-awareness as these are the
foundation of good leadership, both of yourself and others.
Ownership is void of deflection and excuses and embraces tough situations and conversations.
13) We believe that being clear is kind and communicate
with “radical Candor”.
We embrace the benefits of simultaneously caring personally and challenging directly in our interpersonal communication.
Serving others well means removing confusion and keeping the process simple and stress free. Stress, tension and conflict
are often avoided by simply managing expectations. Our clients should never have to wonder what is going to happen next.
We are clear, honest, and are not afraid to be open about bad news or to have hard conversations. We encourage this pursuit of
simplicity and clarity within our team, so they can focus on the right priorities and achieve their goals.
We relentlessly pursue clarity by managing expectations well.
14) A LACK OF COMMUNICATION IS A LACK OF PERFORMANCE.
People say, well I did my job. I just didn’t communicate well. But we say, well your communication is part of your performance.
It doesn’t matter how well you think you did on this task, if you failed to communicate it while it was being done and
failed to close the loop that it was done, who you are accountable to, it is a failure of performance,
Not a failure of communication as a secondary category. It’s an integral apart of the project itself.
We expect people to Close the loop on communication. If I delegate or ask you to do a task, I expect you to communicate
it’s done. So I don’t have to chase it down and say, did you do this.
It’s ok to say, I got this, but I won’t be able to give you an answer for 5 days. The goal is not to avoid failure. But the goal is to avoid
silent failure. The communication failure will generally cause stress for the other.
